Bear Run PA - Fallingwater, one of the most intriguing and important houses designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, was built in 1936 by Pittsburgh department store owner Edgar Kaufmann Sr. and was used as a mountain retreat by his family. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1966 and now in the preservation care of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. (Photo by Gray Whitley)
